A Point of Departure is a series of images, videos and notes taken over the three-month residency at Seoul Museum of Art. It is a compilation of research materials that documents and reflects her new findings on her first visit to Seoul and Jeju. Yu-Chen Wang is particularly interested in South Korea's contemporary history and how it's related to her Taiwanese origin.
